Armando is an associate of the firm. His practice focuses on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, financing, estate planning, restructuring and special situations, as well as regulatory and corporate matters.

Armando advises leading Mexican and multinational corporations and financial institutions on complex capital markets, financing, and corporate transactions.

 

With experience in both Mexico City and New York, he combines international perspective with deep local expertise to deliver practical and business-driven advice.

 

Armando practiced as an international lawyer at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York, where he represented multinational corporations, sovereign and state-owned entities and financial institutions in cross-border debt and equity offerings throughout Latin America.

  • Fernando Chico Pardo and Family on their US$2.3 billion acquisition of 25% of Banamex.

  • Grupo Nutrisa on its direct listing in the Mexican Stock Exchange.

  • Grupo Herdez in the segregation of Grupo Nutrisa through a dividend in kind to its shareholders.

  • Bachoco in its delisting from the Mexican stock markets and the cancellation of its ADRs program in the NYSE.
